Vague Update..?
Life is mmm, not very exciting now...
The past week was a series of meeting various people - meeting Avelyn again, meeting the dancers (for the last time before Sarah flies off!) and meeting Naomi (for the last time before she flies off!).
Meeting Avelyn is always something I look forward to, because I know that when I meet her, I'll be reminded to put more effort into my relationship with God! Am thankful to God for blessing me with the opportunity to meet someone like her, who is able to get me and is able to look out for me! :) We didn't take pictures this time, so, no picture to post!
As for the dancers, it was great to meet up with them again and hear their thoughts on PlayMax! Just a short sidetrack, am grateful for the chance to have been in PlayMax through the StageMax segment. Dancing in StageMax came at a really good time for me because it gave me a chance to serve God in a different way.
Ever since I "graduated" from Youth/Faith Factor, I'd been wondering how and where to serve God. I started the year with joining YAWA comm, which was just nice for me, because I didn't get to plan 2010's Youth Camp. So, it was a great excuse for me to design another camp booklet and also plan programmes as Programmes IC! (Am super glad I didn't have to do devotions - thanks for offering to do so, Melvin! :D) Then, after going to YAWA and China, I was kinda left with nothing to serve God in...
Then, came PlayMax and Kim 언니's request for dancers! So glad that I decided to join it and not get too caught up with planning for the future... haha~ When I joined the item, I didn't think about it a lot, but, it was only after PlayMax and when I was reflecting that I realised that PlayMax was another venue God gave me to spend my time serving Him with. I also later realised that a lot of the time, when people asked me, "Hey, what're you doing at this point in time?", I'd always shrug and say, "Nothing...", when in actual fact, I'd have the PlayMax dance practices every week!
I'm also thankful that 언니 let me handle some of the choreography - not much, but still, it was fun! My second time choreographing for an item! :D The first time was in Zhaojue, where I helped choreograph parts of 'Baby' (yes, we taught the students there that JB song) and '一步一步爱'. Even though,
in all honesty, I would occasionally be a bit frustrated with the item, but at the end of the day, I'm sincerely glad to have been given this opportunity to serve God in this super unique way and to have met like-minded people!
We didn't take pictures at the dinner, but here are two pictures I have of the dancers (sans Hannah :( ) -

(L-R) Sherlyn, Kim, Sarah, Shu Zhen, Me, Leanne, Venus
Taken backstage..I think while StageMax was in progress (haha, 'cause us dancers only appear in Scene 4)
Also, I forgot what the concept for this picture was....

Random selca we took outside the Auditorium at B2 in between shows! Um, not sure where Sherlyn & Kim were (fixing make-up?). Hannah had probably run off for her other item at DJMax.
Anyway, the dancer meet-up was a little bit of a fail, because Venus and Shu Zhen weren't able to go for it in the end. T_T It was supposed to be done so that everyone could come together for the last time before Sarah flies off back to UK for another semester at uni, but oh well, stuff does crop up last minute...
Like Sarah, Naomi will be flying off to UK soon for her first semester at university! SO, I had to meet her for one more time before she flew off (& well, before I fly off for my holiday, more on that later)!!!!! For those not in the know, Naomi is my friend from primary school! And, thinking about it, it is pretty cool that she is like, the only friend from primary school that I kept in contact with! (Angeline, you're not really counted here 'cause we had TKGS and TJ and church!)
We met at Hong Kong Cafe and had lunch there before adjourning to my house for a mini/vague tour of my house! It's super cool that we live so near each other now! Last time, it was a few bus stops, but now it's like, hm, a 10 minute walk away? Haha, nice! It's sad that she's flying off now - just when we're both free & have nothing to do! And also when she'd only had one opportunity to come to KPC! OH WELL. Will look forward to her coming back again (just as I always look forward to my overseas friends who come back
*coughAngelinecoughPriscillacough*)

Gotta take a picture! Last time I'll see her 'till 2012~!
Please ignore my funny-looking hair. I just cut my fringe and I didn't do a good job T_TYeah, so that was the past week! I mean, other than PlayMax and meeting friends, I don't really do much at all. Just sorta like becoming a fb addict of sorts >:( 'Cause I have nothing to do, I'm constantly on the computer, checking fb, surfing the web randomly and also reading
VC.com articles... sigh. Okay, I AM taking Vocal Lessons at Academy Of Rock, a music school that recently opened a branch near where I live. (It's super convenient - no need to take the bus or anything dumb like that for lessons, just a short walk and I'm there!) kekeke. Oh, but the lessons aren't that great, so I don't really recommend my teacher. :/
Avelyn challenged me to finish reading the whole Bible, like skip the first 5 chapters because they're very dry (+ I have read through them before thanks to the Bible Reading Programme KPC had years ago) and start reading from Joshua to Revelations. I think I shall do that, so that I can distract my mind from getting bored and running to the computer! Of course there are appropriate and productive things that I can do on my computer, like research on music production and other related things and making good use of Garage Band, but um, my lack of self-discipline is very glaringly obvious when it comes to the computer. T_T
Other than that, I'll be flying off to Australia for a week to attend my brother's graduation ceremony! We'll also do a short trip to Tasmania during that week! Can't wait - I haven't been to Australia since 2005! Also, I'll be having a sleepover with Priscilla! Heehee! :D I was also thinking of shopping (since they have Supre there!) but then, I just bought stuff from H&M and I feel guilty for it, so I'll try to stop myself from looking at clothes! (Furthermore, I don't actually need anything at the moment) (Except maybe a swimsuit top - my current [and only] one just got spoilt after a swimming session I had in Malaysia when I was there for my cousin's wedding. If I find a reasonably-priced, nice one, I'll get it!)
Okay, I'm done talking rubbish. Gotta go pack now before my mother comes back to nag. Again.
Does anybody actually read my blog? I don't even know anymore! Feels like I'm talking to myself. LOL.
Out!♥
