Just saw this video of Jason Ma.
And I was really inspired by it.
It was so long to sit through!! Omo! I listened/watched to it in parts, because I have a short attention span like most kids around these days. :P But it was totally worth it. (Okay the last 10 minutes were especially hard to sit through cause I was getting sleepy + I'm not a very charismatic-ish Christian, but nonetheless, the earlier parts of the video are inspiring)
I totally identified with him about the "getting back to to the city" thing. It was the same feeling after I came back from Zhaojue. Okay, not so intense as feeling as if I'm
in "hell", but definitely the feeling that all these modern gizmos and all were not necessary for me. Yes, the internet in small doses is fine - which was what I had in ZJ. Just the very occasional short 'trip' to the Internet to read emails, read yg-life & Gaga updates (guilty pleasures...) and read some news about the world. It was short. And not excessive time
spent wasted on the net, as I do now. *rolls eyes*
I MISS ZHAOJUE!!!!!!! (and that lifestyle I lived there - partially developed, but mostly undeveloped, simple area)
Anyway, when he got to the first part about praying for a revival and all (I'll admit, he kinda gets repetitive after a while, but of course, it's all for emphasis), about how sad the state of the Korean Church is now (and well, I guess in general, also the Church in many developed nations), it made me realise how important praying for the world is.
Sadly, I mostly pray to God about my own problems and also occasionally, I pray for my friends and family. I'm not proud of this fact, because I know that I should (A) Pray more frequently and (B) Pray for others
more often. And that video has truly reiterated this point so clearly. Praying 8 hours a day sounds so crazy and well, I guess, hardcore! But it is important!! I mean, there's really so many problems in the world these days and all of that stuff needs prayer.
Anyway, I am ashamed to say that I have not really properly prayed for the world/the Church before. And I'm glad that God gave me this reminder to pray for it! Pray pray pray pray pray. So many problems in the world, so many issues with the world. And it was at that part that I decided to pause the video to draw this picture:

I cannot draw hands properly for nuts, so to be able to draw praying hands like that, is good enough for me. Don't judge my
lack of artistic abilities OKAY. D: (And yes, you can see that I clearly have a lot of influence from David Horvath & Sun-Min Kim's style of drawing)
I think that to sum up the video, and make it less Korea-centric, it tells me that Now is the time to pray, now is the time to act/do something for God, now is the time to give our lives to Him & let Him use them for His Glory. And similar to how that statement started, it all begins with prayer. As Jason Ma said that Paul said,
Never stop praying. Whenever we can, we should pray.
And my cute little bear up there is reminding you/me to pray. So, let's go pray and do something for God, yeah? :)
