Quotable Quotes (Artist's Edition)
Okay, so this post is super delayed!!
I've been meaning to post this for the longest time, but I couldn't because I had problems uploading these pictures from my camera! It's so frustrating when your computer just simply couldn't be bothered to read your SD card. T_T At least my mum's netbook does that task effectively. :/
ANYWAY, so I went to the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands on 4 Aug (see how long it's taken me to post this? :/) We went there mainly because there was some special offer for locals - you know, typical Singaporean. ;D
Okay, enough talking, on to the quotes!

This quote and the one below are both by Salvador Dali. I like this quote because it reminds me to have ambition and to not give up on my dreams. :)

This is my personal favourite. For obvious reasons. ^^

This quote is good. I mean, I'm really quite the perfectionist, so it reminds me that perfection cannot be achieved on this Earth and that I should not let the fear of not producing something that isn't "perfect" stop me!

Nice quote, 네? Certainly is heartwarming -
no pun intended!!

Here's my version:
A well-written song is equivalent to a good deed.

Yes, why?

Certainly agree with you, Mr Shaw!
Why not?
I was ehm, a little lazy to adjust the brightness & contrast settings, but I hope you can still see even the smaller font ones!!
So, here's a shot of the sign outside! Very nicely done, I must say! Unfortunately, I only took this at night, when we were done viewing the 3 exhibitions that were going on at that time, so, please ignore the blurriness of the picture!
My favourite exhibition was without a doubt, the Salvador Dali one. All the amazing sculptures, the interesting paintings and the funky furniture! Man, this guy is blessed with such a creative mind! I mean, of course, there were some that I didn't like and a lot that I didn't fully understand (because, you know, I
am superficial & not deep enough & surrealism is ... complex), but I still thoroughly enjoyed myself in the Dali exhibition!

This guy just
screams eccentricity!
Nobody can beat his signature, not even CL the baddest female! (Yes, she literally writes the phrase in her signatures, which is cool, okay!) I mean, who draws a crown and draws such a pretty twirly thingy like that when he signs? WIN.
You know what was not a win? The Van Gogh exhibition. The stuff outside, which consisted of Sunflower crafts and iconic Van Gogh pictures + Van Gogh quotes pasted on the walls, were WAY more interesting than the stuff inside the exhibition. I won't say anything about it, 'cause I don't want to run the risk of being called out for defamation.
BUT. I would certainly not recommend it to
ANYONE.
(The last exhibition, which was on Tang treasures found from a shipwreck site, is not bad. Not as cool as the Dali one, but certainly miles better than the Van Gogh one)

I like his painting of sunflowers. Apparently, he did many paintings of sunflowers, so I'm not sure which one this is based on. But yeah, I managed to convince my mum to get a fridge magnet of his sunflower painting so that we can have an teeny-weeny bit of Van Gogh in our house. ㅋㅋㅋ
Anyway, nestled somewhere amongst the amazing sculptures in the Dali exhibition was a row of mirrors. You know, the type that have concave & convex bits and alter your reflection in the mirror?

Well, I couldn't resist this one.
(My skirt is NOT as short as it seems here in this picture)
♥Out!
