Random update
This week, I've been madly following the Taiwanese drama, 就想赖着你, it's English title being "Down With Love".
To sidetrack, I REALLY don't understand how they translate titles of Taiwan dramas... Like seriously, the Chinese title & English title are often 2 different things, y'know what I mean? Like 就想赖着你 in English should be "(I) Just Want To Rely On You". Soooo, how come it's "Down With Love"? :( At least, for Korean shows, when they translate it to English, you get the same thing. It makes more sense that way, I feel. I always cannot get why they like to make the English title different from the Chinese title.... 아잉...
Anyway, back to what I was saying... Man, this drama is DAMN ADDICTIVE. I love it. I LOVE IT. It's so good. Like, the scriptwriters are good. SO SO GOOD.
Previously, I didn't really get why girls can become fangirls. Like, with the Korean thing, I was always very normal & non-squealish. Like, I didn't feel a need to get overly excited. I mean, I love my Kpop stuff, but WOW, until this drama, I never knew what it's like to fangirl.
Now I do.
It's pretty crazy and sometimes I wonder how I became this way... :( My mother is always telling me to control myself and always asks me why I must act in such a manner whenever we watch the drama together. I ALSO DUNNO WHY, 'KAY. It's just that when I watch the drama, I lose all sense of cool-headed-ness and become some crazed, easily-excitable girl who squeals at every other thing. AS SUCH, I conclude that the script is DAMN GOOD. Really good stuff. I LIKE. And maybe the acting as well. Good job, people. And of course, Jerry Yan.

He's really good-looking, y'know. Only that I think that his forehead is REALLY HIGH. But still, good-looking. ^^ And like, 제리오빠 너무 너무 너무 멋있어요!!!! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Best expressed in Korean, I feel. The other day when Charis came over for us to share our Korean notes, she was exclaiming that he's really old and all. But you can't deny the fact that he's good-looking.
Also, on a random note, he's the same age as Milo Ventimiglia. HMMM. How come? ;D
But the point of this, is that this drama is taking up a lot of my time. T_T I'm watching it on Tudou, because I don't want the English subs, and MAN, Tudou takes FOREVER TO LOAD. Each episode is 45+ minutes long and there are 28, but I'm only still at 18. I still have 10 more to go. I mean, I'm also watching it on Channel U, which is several (I still dunno the exact number) episode ahead of me, but this is REALLY frustrating!
I want to finish watching the drama so that I can go and do more productive things in life, but NO, still. stuck. there. :( I've tried searching for other options, but unfortunately, there aren't any others unless I want to have the English subs there. Which I don't, because I'm trying to improve my Chinese here!! If there were English subs, I'd have my eyes glued onto them, because I'm naturally drawn to English things. But without them, even though I don't get, maybe, 25% of what they're saying, at least I'm using my Chinese skills!
Also, random fact: After watching a coupl'a episodes of Taiwan dramas, I always feel like using Chinese to talk (to myself). AS SUCH, I conclude that before I go to China again (hopefully I WILL be able to go to 昭觉 again!), I must watch some Taiwan dramas so that I can be in the habit of using Chinese.
When I went there, I didn't use it very often, which was why my Chinese language skills didn't improve, which was a pity. But now I know! ;D (Anyway, the reason I didn't use Chinese very often there - often choosing to remain silent instead of talking - was because I was still very uncomfortable with speaking it. All thanks to a CERTAIN CLASSMATE whose name starts with J. I know I shouldn't be affected by it. But when you have had something being laughed at/mocked about constantly for a few years of your life, you begin to feel very conscious of it okay. >:[ Stupid guys.)
Okay. Back to my drama. Hopefully I can finish it ASAP. It's dragged on for tooooooooooo long!!! :(
