Quotable Quotes

Spent a good part of yesterday out with Avelyn at NEX and we talked a whole lot!

So, out of the extended conversation we had, I have two quotes to share!

The purpose of a fast is to create space for God.

AH, so now I know what a fast is for.
Like, when you fast from something, you have that extra bit of time away from it and that time that was freed up, should be spent more wisely, like, with God! And like, not be substituted with other things (like watching one too many Lady Gaga videos T_T)

As they say, ignorance is not always bliss, so yeah, now I know, I will do something about it!!

Brokenness is realising that God is all you have.
Joy/Happiness is realising that God is all you want.
Peace is realising that God is all you need.

I think that this just encapsulates everything nicely, eh?
I shan't bother explaining it, because for one, my explanation skills are just trash and for another, I would just go around the bush, expanding on this and not actually explaining anything substantial.

That's for not being an arts student! ;D

On the other hand, I think that I'm quite funny. As in, funny in a weird way, not haha way. Like, I'm a science student by nature, 'cause that's how my mind works, but I enjoy doing artsy stuff like drawing, photography & writing music. Funny how God makes us humans to have such interesting personalities huh?

Yeah, just a short post today. My mind's not working very well & I'm trying to load a Taiwan drama on tudou. And it's taking forever T_T

(PS - I'm too lazy to look for a picture to post & too lazy to connect my hard drive to the tablet to use pictures from there. Too bad!)
