Official Uglydoll Online StoreTurny Burny (My mother will say this one is value for money because got 2 uglies in one uglydoll - just like Bop N Beep)
Turny Burny are best friends, and big time trouble makers. Although, they insist it's all just a misunderstanding, and that the trouble makeing is all being done be their doppelgangers from an alternate dimension. Do you ever get Deja Vu? Well, Turny Burny insists that everytime you feel Deja Vu, there is a dimensional portal opening up somewhere. See, so those missing cakes and pies went trough a portal, and these guys had nothing to do with it! Are you ready to take sides? Both?Mr Kasoogi
Mr. Kasoogi is a treasure hunter. He's had a lot of practice hunting for smaller items like candy, donuts, and even fruit. Now he's ready to take on the big challenges...But he needs a partner. Someone he can trust. Or maybe someone like you. Are you up for it? Will you be there when Mrs. Kasoogi turns the kitchen lights on and you're caught with your hand in the cookie jar? Yes? Good! You take the blame! Mr. Kasoogi doesn't mess with Mrs. Kasoogi.Mrs Kasoogi (Yay, another girl ugly!)
Mrs. Kasoogi is the boss in the family. She makes sure things run without snags and she keeps Mr. Kasoogi out of the cookie jar. That way there's more for her! Mrs. Kasoogi demands respect and attention. Attention to details! Small details such as where to find burried treasure, paranormal evidence, the secret of life, the secret to your best recipes, and the secret to finding enough time in the day to get things done. Things like naps.Fea Bea
Ugly Sticks are sort of like the perfect sidekicks to have with you at all times in the Uglyverse. They are there for you. Feeling sad? Ugly Sticks will knock that right out of you. POW! Happy now? No wait...Feeling really Ugly? GOOD! Ugly means UNIQUE! Anyone can retouch a photo to look beautiful, but you can't fake Ugly! Celebrate how truly Ugly you really are with Ugly Stick and show us what you've got!Winkolina (Yes, another one!!)
You may look at Winkolina and say "There goes a really plain, regular, everyday looking Ugly." But on the inside, Winkolina is an adventure waiting to happen. Which is funny because she sees that in you too! Winkolina thinks you have nothing but action and adventure locked away, way deep down! Is she right? Are you ready to show the world what you've really got going on in there? Winkolina has 6 cookies, an apple, and 11 tacos in there. What about you?Trunko (forgot to talk about him last time, so I included him here)
Trunko is over the top. He freaks out over everything and overreacting is his hobby.
When the chips are down, he orders a million more chips at wholesale prices.
Where there's smoke there's fire..and there's Trunko using a fire hose to put out his
birthday candles. Full throttle, go go go...You know how you look before you leap?
Yeah, that's not Trunko. So please be patient with him. Please be a pal. Please use
caution.Yes, now to sleeeeeep. ~

marathon!
Today, I ran my very first marathon! (not counting the road run at school, because that is only 3.6km) It was about 5km, so that was preeeeeetty cool. Okay, so I didn't manage to last the entire route, I ended up stopping partway through, but I continued running after that, managing to be captured running by the photographer! Haha.
Had to wake up at 6ish for the marathon cos we were supposed to meet at 6.45am at East Coast. My mum was being a mean-o this morning, just because I stayed up late last night to use the computer -_- She was all, "You want to wake up a not? If you don't wake up, we're going to go without you ok." Half of me wanted to stay in bed and continue sleeping, but since I am more interested in improving my stamina than catching up on sleep, I dragged myself out of bed to get ready. I SO want to get my A for the 2.4 run this year. It's just not fair at all, I've tried and tried but I've only once managed to get an A in P6 - and that was for the 1.6km run. So this year, I am determined to get an A and get 30 points in NAPFA - that is if I can do the 17 pull-ups...
Anyway, Ben & Maha came over and my parents, them and I drove over to East Coast to the meeting place. It was pretty cold in the morning, especially so, because it'd rained the night before. But the cold air was good, because when we'd started the run, we had this cold air blowing against us, which had a nice cooling effect. The route in itself was rather scenic and we didn't pass anything twice. Of course, being me, I try to conserve energy in any way possible, which meant that I didn't really get to see much.
Oh yeah, along the way, we passed several "landmarks", one of which was the OBS East Coast Campus. That was really surprising to see cos I thought that OBS was only in Pulau Ubin and I totally didn't expect to see it at East Coast Park hahahaha. Another one was the National Sailing Centre/the Sailing Club, where we got to see stack after stack of boats (kayaks,
I THINK). Anyway, back to what I was saying. The route, to me, can be classified into 2 categories: the first part and the second part (which is the part after we'd turned)

Yeah, so you can click on the picture to enlarge it! I've highlighted the route out & split it up into first and second part :D
(I can't believe
streetdirectory.com actually had the walking path drawn on! I thought I'd only see the OBS landmark stuff, but who knew! ;D)
Yeah, so the first part of the route was okay, totally fine. That part was about 2.5km-ish. I was feeling alright and it was nice and cooling. Oh, there was one bit where the pavement was completely flooded and we had to stop running/jogging completely because if not we'd totally splash ourselves. Haha. After we'd turned and I'd started on the second part of the route, I was beginning to feel a bit of the strain. But I continued running and running till I'd managed to pass my mother. (That was probably after I'd passed the back of the OBS East Coast Campus)
I continued on until I passed the bridge at the Water Venture East Coast (I didn't even know this thing existed till I saw the map) and I told myself, if this upcoming pavilion is not the one where we'd dumped our bags, I'm gonna brisk walk till I'm ok. Which I did. I was a little upset with myself, because I'd really wanted to run the complete route and persevere through it all. But, well, I'm just not one of those built-to-last runners and I am a short distance runner with no training, so yeah. I don't know where I re-started running again, but I know that the photographer was near to the Solar System Amphitheatre/Bougainvillea Garden. HAHA.
By the way, one of those two places is really quite nice and very pleasant to run through. I'm not sure which one I ran through though. Most likely the former.
On retrospect, I'm not too sure whether the markings are all correct, but it's roughly like that. ROUGHLY. Oh and because I was nice and rested after the short walking segment that I had, when I was nearing the finishing line, I was feeling a-okay. Haha. I also did not sprint, because there is no need to anywaaaay. I was the second girl! My timing was about 27 minutes plus. The fastest guy - Jon Ma - was 17 minutes plus, 10 whole minutes faster than me! Haha, but anyway, I'm glad that I only walked a bit. The feeling of finishing the marathon is quite good I must say. It's like this sense of accomplishment and relief (that it is over).
We had breakfast after. I think I ate like 4 or 5 halves of youtiao! I haven't had youtiao in AAAAGEZ and it was yummy-licious because it was barbequed! Whoot! I also ate beehoon, an apple, some of Dawn's & my mother's Nasi Lemak and several toasted/roasted marshmallows. Haha, so much! Anyway, according to my mum, we reached home at 10 (I didn't see the clock) and even though I was supposed to shower before I went back to sleep, I feel asleep on the floor. Because sleep was just too tempting even though I had sweat on me (But honestly, the sweat on my body had already dried up. The only place left was sweat was my hair that was tied up and that didn't really affect me and make me feel gross.) Yes, I know I'm gross, but...
STOP JUDGING ME! :(
Yeah, and the rest of today was very slacker-ish. After I'd woken up at around1ish and finished showering around 2ish and finished eating lunch at 3ish, I read newspapers, went back to sleep AGAIN and um, yeah. Basically that's how I spent today. OH OH OH and when I was sleeping the second time, I had a dream. In that dream, I was at the piano and had sudden inspiration on how to play the piano background of "I Hate This Part" by the Pussycat Dolls. I tried it out after dinner and was half-correct. I just needed to transpose the melody one semitone up :D Which is how I wasted one hour away.
And that's today up till now. Where I am using the computer now. Ooh and I downloaded the piano sheet music for Only Hope and How to Save a Life just now (after Iyn Yi had told me that you can download sheet music for free online. I am seriously so behind in stuff like this! Haha) I can't wait to print it out & learn it! I ♥ How to Save a Life!!! I have begun to take a new interest in piano hur hur.
------------------------------------------------------
I haven't been updating much because life has been rather mundane. As in busy with schoolwork and dance, but mundane and nothing particularly exciting. The birthday was also not very interesting and I only have pictures of the family party (which I am not posting) at the moment. Emerlyn says she'll send me the pictures she took at the mini-celebration at church, so I'll have to see first. Yeaaaah.
Hm, let me make this post more egg-citing. Or at least update what's been going on somewhat.
Ok, here are some major things that happened during my (somewhat) haitus.
- SYF
Yeah, so we got Gold. That's all. :( Sigh.
- My birthday
Had computing test. And as I found out on Monday (4th may), I'd failed it. Miserably. And it's one of my H2 subjects. :( Sigh. I could've gotten 4 more marks if I'd been more careful, but YEAH. ugh. Also, if I'd studied more, I'm sure it wouldn't have been so...
The best part is that the only guy who failed hadn't bothered studying. He got 20 marks out of 35 and he'd not studied at all. Isn't that just awesome. I SO CANNOT wait for JCTs now thankyouverymuch glenn. Ugh. :/
- STGCC
OH THIS ONE IS NOT AS DEPRESSING AS THE REST.

This entire week I've been visiting the STGCC website non-stop, like I'm addicted to it. I KNOW for sure that I am obsessed with it and that I CANNOT WAIT TO GO TO IT ON FRIDAY BECAUSE I WANT TO BUY THOSE UGLYDOLLS LIKE OHMYGOODNESS I NEED TO STOP TYPING IN CAPS/BIG FONTS. L♥VE. I want to buy those uber uber cute Uglydoll Action Figures!
It's like I keep seeing David Horvath posting various pictures of the action figures on his blog and like people on Flickr posting their pictures of the action figures on their Flickr photostream and I'm all "WHEN WILL THEY COME TO SINGAPORE???????" I know it's bad to keep wanting to spend money, but then, Uglydolls are uglydolls and they are totally worth the money because they are awesome cute-awesome cute. I know it's bad to, but I really really want to buy the entire set. I'm sure they'll offer it right, at the Comic Con, because after all, crazy freaks like me would totally splurge on things like these.
(Which also means that I can't spend money on other things the rest of this year or I can't buy my Heroes Season 3 DVD) MY GOODNESS, so many things to buy this year! This is a bad bad habit :( Anyway, here is a picture of those to-die-for Action Figures.
