sports carnivals and midsummer night dreams
yeah, this blog post is kinda overdue. last night i was like rushing for bio like mad that, yes, i ended up sleeping at 4am. huh.
anyway, so yesterday was slack-o day again. in the morning, was chilling at the canteen with some 1B people. then, hui fen, terry and i hopped up to the library when it opened AND i hoped to do some bio so that i won't be so rushed after school. thanks to murphy's LOOOUUUUSY law, i wasn't able to connect to the wireless access, so i just did what i could offline and then i proceeded to spend the rest of the time there playing icy tower-man i was BORED.
i played like a gajillion games while the tablet was charging. ok, so at least im grateful that i could play icy tower, cos sometimes when the audio doesn't work, i can't play icy tower and im bored shit. oh and i realised why my lousy tablet had been acting up recently. i hadn't done the restart now thing, so i guess it jammed up loads? anyway, yay it works now, so i feel better. (:
the sports carnival was really quite a boring experience since i wasn't involved in any inter-pdp games and i spent the entire time at the library wasting away, playing icy tower. *shivers* (no pun intended) i really kinda am a bit bored at that game since im so TOTALLY lousy and cant even get to the wood stage BARRGH. shu fen joined us after a while. anyway, there were rumours that there was some OBS talk at 12.30, but no one knew where it was. so, terry, huifen and i trudged around school looking for the darned venue.
oh and there were these silly striped um, strips of er, string (i really have no idea what it's called) randomly placed around the school. terry and i tried to play limbo with it, and it was really hilarious. there was one that wa really low & we gave up all hope and decided not to try it. anyway, after traipsing part of the school, we gave up and looked for denise. we met the pe teacher in charge of OBS and in the end, we traipsed the school for nothing cos it was cancelled. sigh. nevermind, exercise for this lazy unfit fat girl.
went home for lunch and finished up all my tape inuyasha episodes for this week so i am UP-TO-DATE. :D then of course, even after a stern pep talk to myself, i went to sleep and refused to officially wake up at 5 even though my mum was periodically waking me up and screaming cos she knew i only had done a "substantial amount of my bio lab report" (heh, that's what i told her) and it was due tomorrow (today).
THEN i remembered that i had to go for the midsummer night's dream play at school, so i rushed like mad. anyway, i ended up reaching there 5-10 minutes late, thank goodness. after all, i left the house at like 6.47pm. i was praying like mad for the bus to come quickly and it did! woohoo! Praise God! (:
yeah, the play was okay. understood about hm, like this much out of this much. because they were kinda mumbling and it was in shakespearen language. so yeah. but the sets were nice! and the costumes were pretty cool. OH! OH! OH! the guy playing oberon has like abs (according to the filipino driver), his tattoo at his right oblique is real (according to terry) and he has a navel piercing. apparently, he has like this REAL tattoo gun at home and he has his NRIC no. tattooed on his right armpit. :O we can see all this (not the nric one), because his costume is a vest and pants. yes im serious.
so at least the bus came quickly, so i got home before 10pm. and then i started (as i told annabelle) working like a dog til 4am. my bio report is pretty messy, cos i was falling asleep as i wrote it even though i was chewing gum like a maniac (not a happy experience). it could be nice and neat like this and suddenly become like t hi s and then go back to this and the cycle repeats itself again and again. i LOATHE falling asleep as i write stuff cos i can semi-conciously write weird things. so my lab report ALSO has lots of correction tape plastered eerywhere. no, i cant remember everything wrong i wrote, but i know they dont make sense.
so i was awfully tired this morning. like a REAL ZOMBIIE. anyway, after some amazing power nap on shu fen's bag and my laptop case, i feel as bright as a lark now. (: which is why i can blog all this madness. gah! after this is the junior science olympiad test! it feels bad to know that you're gonna let the school down and yet you still have to go. PLUS i have to "skip" my sports elective, which is DANCE- HIP HOP AND I HAVEN'T DONE HIP HOP IN AGES. :'( REALLY UNFAIR. im just hoping now that annabelle (who im so sorry to have to leave alone) can absorb like everything and teach me cos i miss hip hop. :(anyway, i shall be a good girl and study for the JSO selection test. i KNOW i wont get in, but AT LEAST i wont feel guilty that i didnt give my BEST. so toodles for now. pictures at home so i'll post em later on i hope?OOOH MAN. I SUDDENLY REALISED IT'S THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL. O-B-S AND J-C-T. ARGH *SCREAMS*ta-rah~

long time no post eh?
hello! my goodness! it's been AGEEES since i last posted! but anyway, i've promised myself to post everyday for the rest of this month SINCE this IS my first post in may. LOL. :D i SHOULD be doing bio, but yet again, i feel SO uninspired to work. daaarn.
i mean like, the JCTs are in like, 4 weeks time and OBS is on next monday. EVEN nearer is junior science olympiad test (not that i will make it, but still). and yeah, bio is due friday. AT LEAST i did some research like several days ago. huh. i am SIMPLY PATHETIC. :( so obviously you should be able to tell that life's really hectic.
today we finished off our elective (called Alchemy or Chemistry?) with our presentation. poster and log book. it's quite like crystal growing, only this time we make soap and paper weights. it's been really fun, yet dangerous, cos we could've corroded our skin with the materials we were dealing with. XD but yeah, we're ALL SAFE. except for like maybe hui fen having her skin peeling (healed) and me having this blister bump in the lower bottom of my palm (it's situated in between the two lumps everyone has on their palm). i picked it open on monday while waiting for that slow slow dumb bus 12 in the rainy morning and now it's a scab. and my dad's in hong kong. so that's why i had to take the bus on monday. i've been hitching a ride from elaine (thank goodness for her and her kind parents), so i don't really have to rush for the bus. heh. ;D
hm. well. oh yes, blogger is so much better now! it automatically saves a post periodically. WAY COOL. at least this way, i will NEVER lose a post when the internet browser jams up & stupidly closes. LIKE it did last time. i've ever had to retype out entire posts JUST because the browser jammed up on me. ): anyway, this is really good, especially since this desktop is getting old and like, pretty slow and is liable to just hang there. ugh. so, that makes 2 computers we have to reformat. my tablet and the family desktop.
so tomorrow's gonna be the first day of sports carnival. we dont have any lessons, i'm not in any inter PDP/class games and so im actually, literally free. it's like having consequetive free periods in one entire day. :O haha. so that leaves me to do bio i hope. gonna have to collate all my info, make sure it's all ok and properly typed out, then i'll have to write out everythign nicely. HOPEFULLY this time i wont

b) have a lousy report done
cos i've been under TOO MUCH stress this week no thanks to my OH-SO-POOR time management skills. so it's like, this ENTIRE WEEK, i've been sleeping at 3/4 am and that leaves me minimal sleep cos i've to wake up at 6. it's really a miracle that i can stay alive in school. i mea i know i practically walk around like a zombie, but hey! im still very much aware of the world around me and not walking around in dreamland.
anyway, because i forgot that this week was electives, i ended up doing my today's (wednesday) slot in the library after the elctive had ended (good thing it ended early [:), which i guess was a good thing, cos it's mainly quiet. today's one was good, like saturday and very different from monday (cos i uh, was so tired i uh, fell asleep halfway- and i was on the couch not my bed *rolls eyes at self*), so i feel pretty good today. like an accomplished young woman :D
and yay! today didn't have civics OR contact time, so i went home for lunch. and i finished watching last week's inuyasha episodes and heroes episode. hm, nothing else interesting that happened today. except that i SHOULD BE DOING MY BIO LAB REPORT NOW. *nudge nudge me* ok, i'm getting really itchy now. silly mosquitoes. go away, leave me alone till OBS. rawr.
i am SO NOT prepared for OBS. everything's so rushed. at least i've started on SOME of my OBS shopping. we've to spend so much JUST for 5 days of suffering. UGH. aand, im so scared. i mean, what's gonna happen to me? sigh, gonna have to trust that God'll protect me from anything. (:
my mum's being so encouraging now. [i have promised myself not to be so vulgar so i will stongly refrain from calling her stupid, idiotic or assholic. and YES, i will change for the better] so that means i should be getting off blogger and doing a bit of my bio lab report. ta-rah!
